FRICTION
A new dawn.
Friction is the first production with the second generation of Zero Dance Theatre. Young individuals dedicated themselves to the craft and earned a spot into the company. They're first official appearance was with the main company during a side story of Past Present Zero at Summerdance Theatre Nights 2022.
F(R)ICTION.
Inspired by the mysterious oasis of a desert, by the energy generated by friction, he experiments with choreographic elements such as time, repetition, group work versus individual. Choreographer Denden further investigates his dynamic and very physical movement language as a metaphor for life in this time, in a society that seems to be a succession of friction and fiction and of trial and error.
Friction is a 30 minute performance that will expanded in 2023 into a full piece.
